Information Regarding the Field Where the Crop Cam is Located:



- Kain Wheat planted

- Planted April 23, 2010

- 6246 Alpine Fertilizer used and 100 pounds of Uria; spread at 5 gallons per acre

- On May 27, 2010 the field was top dressed with another 100 pounds of Uria

- Sprayed May 28, 2010 using Refine Extra and MCPA

Wet weather - grazing crop opportunities

Hi fellow croppers:

The wet weather has been a real problem in harvesting corn silage and some cereals or soybeans.

One possible opportunity is to graze the unharvested crop. Putting up some electric fence and allowing cattle in to graze after freeze up may be a possibility. Beef cows or stockers could survive with fresh snow, mineral and the stover.
